Professional Electrical Infrastructure Integration for New Systems

Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems are critical components of modern data centres and commercial facilities, providing essential backup power during unexpected utility grid outages. Treske offers certified, high-precision UPS electrical installation Australia-wide for new hardware deployments—ensuring your backup power units and associated AC wiring are safely and seamlessly integrated into your facility's electrical infrastructure.

This dedicated service is designed for brand-new equipment deployments rather than replacing existing hardware, delivering a streamlined, compliant, and zero-risk installation for single-phase hardware setups.

Standard Scope of Works

When you book a UPS electrical installation with Treske, our licensed technicians follow a standardised scope of work tailored to maximise safety and operational efficiency.

We handle the physical positioning and mounting of your UPS unit, assuming the hardware is already in place near its final position. Our team then supplies and installs a dedicated AC power feed directly from your local electrical distribution board to the unit, handling cable runs of up to 10 metres.

To protect your investment, we supply and fit a correctly rated circuit breaker inside your local distribution board before completing all AC terminations. Finally, we execute the initial system startup for single-phase 2kVA to 6kVA units to ensure everything is operating as expected.

Our Professional Installation Process

At Treske, safety and regulatory compliance drive every project. We offer our UPS electrical installs through a structured four-stage process designed to eliminate risk to your staff and facility assets:

Pre-Install Site Assessment & Planning

We review your site layout, circuit breaker requirements, and cabling route to ensure your local distribution board can support the new electrical load.

Scheduled Electrical Isolation

The local distribution board is safely shut down prior to work commencing. No live electrical work is performed, ensuring absolute safety during cable termination and breaker installation.

Precision Wiring & Circuit Fitment

Our certified electricians mount the circuit breaker, run up to 10 metres of high-grade AC cabling, and complete secure terminations to the UPS.

System Startup & Handover

We restore power to the board, initiate startup for 2–6kVA units, and verify that clean AC power is supplying your unit correctly.

Why Professional Installation is Essential for Businesses

Attempting ad hoc or uncertified UPS integration poses severe risks to your business continuity, staff safety, and IT hardware. Substandard wiring or incorrect circuit breaker ratings can cause nuisance tripping, severe voltage drops, electrical fires, and immediate non-compliance with Australian Wiring Rules (AS/NZS 3000). By choosing Treske for your installation requirements, your organisation gains critical operational advantages:

  • Zero Live Work Safety Policy: Strict adherence to WHS protocols protects your staff and site from hazardous electrical faults during setup.
  • Hardware Protection: Ensures a clean, balanced voltage feed directly from the sub-board, preventing premature battery degradation or damage to the input phase.
  • Regulatory Peace of Mind: Full compliance with Australian electrical standards ensures your facility insurance policies and manufacturer warranties remain completely valid.

Service Parameters & Coverage Guidelines

To ensure complete transparency, our standard installation packages operate within clear guidelines. All work is scheduled during standard business hours (Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM) within a 60km radius of metropolitan state capital cities across Australia. Custom cable runs over 10 metres, after-hours installations, and specialised switchboard modifications are readily available as add-on options upon request.

Please note that standard packages exclude 0–40kVA full startup or commissioning (priced separately), site-specific induction or online compliance training time, on-site parking fees (where applicable), and labour required during after-hours or public holidays.
